The Wareham American Legion Post #220 Baseball Program will be holding player registration for all newly interested and returning players on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 6:30-8:00pm at the Wareham Post #220 American Legion Hall, 777 Main St. West Wareham, MA 02576 (across from Decas Elementary School).
Post #220 American Legion Baseball competition in 2012 is open to players born on or after January 1, 1993 who live in Wareham, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, parts of Buzzards Bay, and those who attend; Wareham High School, Old Rochester Regional High School, or Tabor Academy.
All NEW players must have an "ORIGINAL" birth certificate supplied before play begins. Additionally, all players will need their SSN#, medical insurance/policy#, and family’s physician/phone# to fill out the registration forms appropriately. The registration fee for the 2012 season will be $200/player ($150 + $50 fundraising cost). All selected players will need to review and sign their acknowledgement of the team "rules and commitments" that will include an additional $100 for the "Pasta Feast" fundraising event towards the end of the season. This will ensure that you will receive the following; uniform, hat, t-shirt, belt, socks, and shorts (purchase order permitting). Lastly, players who do not get selected will be refunded entirely w/ in thirty (30) business days of the last tryout date.

The Post #220 Baseball Program would like to announce that Mr. Tom Angelo will be the new General Manager. Tom comes to the program with a 'boat load' of baseball knowledge and will be a key addition in the 2012 summer season. Welcome aboard!
